Meet the cats! Introducing Jubilex and Friends. These are all real cats, each with their own unique personality, who live all over the world, and share our lives. If you're really committed, there's last years calendar... I'm working on a new one, which may or may not happen before the end of 2007. Jubilex lives with Qwyzlm and David in San Francisco. He's a very skinny little cat, who is extremely affectionate. He loves to cuddle strangers, and try and curl up under skirts and sweaters. His nose runs all the time. Sometimes he curls up with Qwyzlm and they cuddle, or he tries to cuddle up against whoever else is handy. Qwyzlm is the young roommate of Jubilex (and David). He's very quiet, and playful. He tries to eat and drink pretty much everything and anything, so he's always on a diet. He loves to have his ears scratched, but only once he's gotten to know you. John Henry is a big solid friendly cat, who likes to climb shelves in the middle of the night and knock things down. He lives with Allison, and is another San Francisco cat. When Allison's not sitting at her desk he creeps into her chair which is his favourite spot, he likes it best when it spins around. Chan lives in Seattle with Randy and Chaya. She's a crafty little hunter, who likes keeping the place free from rodents. Chan likes to chase mice. Oceana lives with Jim, Kristie, and Leopold. She's a very pretty cat, who is mostly hair. Note especially her Hepburn eyelashes, the triangular patch on the top of her head, her extremely pink nose, the patch of grey on her right shoulder and left front leg, and the way her whiskers turn down. She has a silver heart shaped tag on a red collar. She's a San Franciscan too, and likes nothing better than to climb a tree. This is Emit, he lives in Goodyear, Arizona with Carrie and Matt. His tail is prettty stripy and so are his spots. Emit is a talker. He sits at the bottom of the stairs at night where the acoustics are the best and howls this deep gutteral howl, like he's calling for his long lost love or he just likes to hear his voice, it's actually really creepy. This is Spider who lives in Chicago with Angela. He weighs 14lbs and is too big to fit on a lap, (but that doesn't stop him from trying). When sufficiently motivated by a fuzzy on a stick, he will do flips. He plays hide-and-seek daily, Angela says "BoogaBoogaBooga!" when she chases him. He's super amazingly tolerant and adaptable. "Outside" scares him. He doesn't make any sound when purring, but he does vibrate. He has a girly meow. Medea is a sleek little cat who lives with Xander, in his San Francisco apartment with many many plants. She's pretty young and excited, and likes to move around by doing backflips and other exciting moves. Bruno lives with Jill and Dan in San Francisco. Bruno is very social and something of a whiner. He likes to suck his tail. It's a little obsessive-compulsive, but so is Bruno. He also likes to cry outside the bedroom door at 5am. On the positive side, he love to eat bugs, play in the sink, and sit in front of the heating vent. He likes to make noise by knocking things off the dresser, he's a smart cat. The fluffiest cat ever - Boogie is a big mellow old cat who lives in San Francisco with Jennifer, Dan, and Hazel. He's super relaxed and friendly but chill with most people, but for some reason, he likes best to smoosh up against boys, and tries to climb on them a lot. This is Zuki, AKA Mama Zuki who lives in the U.K. in Hastings with Zilla, Sargam, and Marlon, and her cat entourage, including Yoshi. She like nothing better than eating aromatic peking duck plus she loves chasing moths, and lastly she smiles and is very much one of the boss cats at home. Leopold is a San Franciscan, living with Oceana (and Jim and Kristie). He eats all sorts of odd things, like avocados and roasted red peppers. he's got a white underjaw, racing stripes that run from his nose around his eyes and all the way out into his substantial mane, note his whiskers of chaos, and his extremely fluffy, coffee and creme belly. Po has a silver heart shaped tag on a black collar. Yoshi is a british cat who lives with Zuki (and Zilla, Sargam, and Marlon too of course). He's a big bad tiger boy who loves raw chicken. He bullys the other cats and runs things, but most of all he likes sleeping in his favourite big black chair, like a james bond villain.
