Company : About Soyabean
Soyabean Design was established in 1996 by Sonia Harris, and is based in San Francisco's Haight District. Sonia Harris trained as a fine artist and then a graphic designer in London in the early '90's. In 1996 Sonia moved from London to San Francisco and Soyabean Design was established soon after. Soyabean Design was created as an environment in which the client and designer could work together directly, to produce an efficient and enjoyable creative process. With 10 years of experience designing and producing identities, books, websites, posters, flyers, postcards, advertising, photography and more for both print and the internet, Soyabean can help with whatever your design needs.

Core concepts and tenets of Soyabean Design:
...
Truly successful design is largely invisible, and instead conveys the intended message or effect, almost without any conscious ackowledgement or awareness of the design on the part of the audience.
...
Effective graphic design feels right, is comfortable and easy, it requires no effort on the part of the target audience to understand or absorb the information/message.
...
Every visual design element needs to have a reason for its existence. There must be a logical point for it or it will inherently feel wrong.
...
Direct client to designer contact (and vice versa) always makes a job go smoother and faster. The more feedback and information shared, the easier the job is. The fewer people who're interspersed between this communication loop, the better the job will be.
