Halou CD 2001. San Francisco, CA Design and production in collaboration with the band, this CD uses a stock photo, but so close and tight that it's dirty texture dominates. The dark, neutral colors are indicative of the dark, dusky music. The use of a light wash of silver on the cover art is unusual and subtle, working well with the matt finish on the CD itself. Continuing the theme of abstract close-ups, the inside art is similarly obtuse.
